A passion for neuroscience

Dr Kristen Pammer teaches her passion for neuroscience; her aim is to encourage students to reflect on the complex relationship between brain mechanisms and behaviour, particularly those processes we take for granted every day, such as memory, reading and attention.

Dr Pammer teaches neuroscience and statistics at all university levels, from first year to Honours and postgraduate studies and she has been the recipient of many awards, including an ANU Student's Association Award for Excellence in Teaching, a Carrick Award for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, an ANU Top Supervisor Award for Postgraduate Supervision, and the position of University Education Scholar. Dr Pammer has been nominated by ANU for a 2014 national Office for Teaching and Learning Award for Teaching Excellence.
