How to Study Psychology at the ANU

~ To study Psychology under a BSc(Psychology) requires an ATAR of 80.

~ To study Psychology under a B(Psychology) requires an ATAR of 95.

~ To study Psychology under a BA requires an ATAR of 80.

You can also do First Year Psychology just as an elective to go with your other courses. No First Year Psychology courses have any pre-requisite knowledge.

In all of these cases, simply add the following courses when you fill out your enrolment form:
PSYC1003 Understanding Mind, Brain and Behaviour (semester 1 course)
PSYC1004 Understanding People in Context (semester 2 course)

The course list has been updated to reflect the 2018 offering. 

Note, that students enrolled in Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) must complete at least 24 units of Honours pathway courses. Information on special topics will be available only a few weeks before the start of semester.
