We are half-way through Semester 1 of 2019 and our ANU Psychology Society (ANUPS) has certainly been busy! So far this year our student-led society has organised six events for our undergraduate, postgraduate and international students as well as our staff.

These include a:

• Free Salsa class in O-Week to promote self-care and new friendships (particularly among new students), plus a walking tour of 'must-know' destinations for psychology students & timetabling help.
• A Meet n Greet where RSP students and staff of all year groups could mingle over free BBQ food in our courtyard.
• Two movie nights where students were invited for a movie screening with free pizza, popcorn and soft drinks.
• ANUPS joined forces recently with all science societies to host the annual Bonfire Night!

It's great we have such an active society on campus for our students to provide extra academic, and social support.
