The Lecturer is expected to undertake work in all three areas of academic activity – research, education and service (including outreach). The allocation of time to each area will be discussed with the position supervisor annually and be reflective of the appointee’s research agenda, school and interdisciplinary teaching requirements and leadership opportunities within the School environment. The Lecturer may also be required to supervise or mentor junior staff and undertake leadership roles as applicable. The Lecturer will contribute to the overall intellectual life and positive culture of the School, College, and University.
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - 1 x full-time position either as a 5 year fixed term or a Tenure Track appointment (min 7 years, options for renewal or conversion to permanent tenured continuing) depending on seniority and academic potential/track record.
The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will be a member of the School of Medicine and Psychology reporting to the Director of the School. They will be expected to work collegially, leading by example to develop and maintain effective, productive, and beneficial workplace relationships within the academic and professional School and College staff, students, and honorary appointees, as well as with community, government, and industry stakeholders. This position will also require the mentoring of students and collaboration with local, national, and international colleagues.
Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor and Clinical Program Convener - 1 x full-time position either as a 5 year fixed term or a Tenure Track appointment (min 7 years, options for renewal or conversion to permanent tenured continuing) depending on seniority and academic potential/track record.
The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will undertake work in all three areas of academic activity – research, education and service (including outreach), with a focus on convening the Clinical Psychology Program, and teaching into the Master of Professional Psychology and/or Clinical Psychology Program, and conducting research with a clinical/applied focus. The allocation of time to each area will be discussed with the position supervisor annually and be reflective of the appointee’s research agenda, School and interdisciplinary teaching requirements and leadership opportunities within the School environment. The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will also be required to supervise or mentor less senior staff, and undertake leadership roles as applicable. The Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor will contribute to the overall intellectual life and positive culture of the School, College, and University.
