ANU and Southwest University - Joint Education Program

Professor Kiaran Kirk, Dean, ANU College of Science, Associate Professor Anna Cowan, Deputy Dean (Education), ANU College of Science and Professor Michael Kyrios, Director, Research School of Psychology, welcomed new psychology students at Southwest University in Chongqing, China on 9 September.

Professor Kyrios gave a detailed account of the ANU and Southwest University Psychology Education Program and commended the performance of the Southwest University students currently studying at ANU. Professor Kyrios encouraged the new students to balance their learning and life, to enjoy the fun of learning and applying psychology, and looks forward to the wonderful performance of the new students.

Southwest University and ANU began the psychology joint education program in 2015, aimed at cultivating international psychology professionals. ANU attaches great importance to the training of the program students, travelling to Southwest University to teach and maintain regular contact with the students.
