Post-Trauma Psychopathology
I am a Clinical Psychology student from the School of Psychology at the Australian National University currently completing a PhD thesis in which I am researching post-trauma psychopathology. In particular, I am interested in how pre-existing factors, such as beliefs about one's self and the world, attribution of causation, ability to access adaptive coping strategies and capacity for emotional regulation, impact on a person's vulnerability for post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety. These factors are measured both prior to, and following exposure to a series of traumatic events and stressful experiences.
