Teaching and Research Staff

Academic staff in the Department of Psychology carry out a range of duties. All of our academic staff actively engage in research. A number also teach in the Department, and supervise research students. The Department's research only staff members may be available to supervise research students, but are not involved with course-work teaching.

Administrative and Technical staff

General staff assist in the smooth day to day running of the department. Administrative staff handle student enquiries, human resource matters and provide administrative support to all staff and students. The technical staff support the teaching and research initiatives of academic staff, postgraduate and honours students in the areas of information technology, electronics design, audiovisual and web-based support and workshop construction.

Research Students

There are a number of research only or research & course based programs that graduate students can undertake in the Department of Psychology. Within those program options our students conduct research in all major areas of Psychology, and adopt and utilise a wide range of theoretical perspectives and research methodologies and practices.
